On Thursday 21 May, Yoann was at the Gare Numérique de Carpentras to present Archesia to an audience of around thirty people, at a special AI event organised by French Tech.
The first time is unlike anything else
It was the first time Yoann had pitched Archesia in public. He had worked on it all week, practised, and refined his talk. Normally quite relaxed by nature, he found himself with a knot in his throat the moment he stepped up to speak. He hadn’t quite expected that.
And yet it went really well.
He didn’t fall back on the pitch he had prepared word for word, but he still managed to explain the product clearly and follow the outline he had in mind. Those two things don’t always go together.
Feedback that matters
After the presentation, the responses were very positive. The evening continued with a networking drinks, and Yoann was able to talk with quite a few business owners in the room. Several of them expressed strong interest in Archesia. Real conversations, with people who immediately saw how it applied to their day-to-day.
That’s exactly what we were hoping to validate.
What’s next: Avignon
We’re getting close to launch. Yoann is in the process of deploying everything to welcome the first pilot clients as soon as possible.
The next milestone is already set: on Thursday 11 June, at the Palais des Papes in Avignon, Yoann will present Archesia again, this time in front of a room of 250 business leaders.
